As of December 15,2023, all air source and cold climate air source heat pumps found on this list are eligible under the Oil to Heat Pump Affordability (OHPA) program.

Homeowners should ask their mechanical system contractor to include the AHRI number, along with the brand name, and the model numbers of the recommended indoor and outdoor units and furnace or air handler where applicable in the quote. This information can then be used to confirm that the quoted system is eligible.

To confirm that the specific heat pump system recommended by your mechanical system contractor is eligible under OHPA, follow these steps:

1. Enter the AHRI number in the “AHRI/Verification reference” field near the bottom of this page, then hit enter.
2. When you review the search results, verify that the brand name and model numbers shown in the search results match exactly the information provided by your mechanical system contractor in the quote.

All equipment must be purchased in Canada . Online purchases are only eligible if they are ordered from a distributor located in Canada.

Note: for residents from British Columbia, Hybrid and Coils Only systems are not eligible.
